Mirko Rugarli

I am a senior executive with a track record in driving growth and collaboration at all levels of an organization and across cultures, countries and continents. My career has ranged from large corporations to managing the operations of start-ups, and my experience in multiple diverse roles across technical and commercial departments has given me a wide and comprehensive understanding of the telecommunication business. I have previously been involved in building Greece's first wireline new entrant business as well as the relaunch of the consumer fixed business of Wind Telecomunicazioni in Italy, completely turning around the operations and developing it into the second largest wireline carrier in the country. Following Vimpelcom’s acquisition of Orascom Group, I joined the young Canadian wireless operation, heading up the marketing organization and I have redesigned and executed a new commercial strategy that has established the company as the only successful new entrant in the marketplace and the 4th national carrier in terms of customers. Since the beginning of 2015 and till the sale of the company, I had been
overseeing all the commercial activities, including Sales and Customer Care. Back to Italy, I was involved in the merger between Wind and H3G managing the integration of the commercial activities. Later I had been leading the CVM department of the company driving a deep business and organizational transformation. I’m now the Chief Transformation Officer of Windtre.
